There are days when couples get bored with each other and doing nothing to save the relationship can lead to the end of the relationship. Sometimes it’s the little things that mean most to your spouse.

So before it’s late do these simple tips to save your relationship and never let the romance die.

1. Say Good Morning

When you open your eyes in the morning, do not take your phone but your spouse and say good morning first.

2. Never Ever fight when you’re hangry

Whenever you start to have an argument, instantly try to do a ‘gut check,’ i.e. check if either one of you is hungry. If so, end the argument immediately, eat something and wait half an hour to see if you want to resume arguing. Sounds weird, but That Works.

3. Do something small every day

Showing rather than telling him/her how much you care. Complimenting on even small things, Apologizing for hurting feelings even if it was unintentional. Enjoy threads like this for reminding your spouse how lucky you are to have someone like him/her.

4. Go on date nights, frequently

There is nothing better to instil romance in married life. You both stay busy throughout the day, so go to date night on weekends. This will refresh your relationship. At this time of lockdown, you can create a date-like atmosphere in your room at night.

5. Do not skip flirting, Relationships never grow Old

This applies to all married couples. Even if your marriage is new or it has been 50 years of marriage, you should not stop flirting with each other. Flirting is the best way to add romance to your married life.

6. There should be no gadget between husband and wife

It is a very important habit that when you are both together, then make sure that there is no  mobile or laptop between you. In that time you both can do gossip, do future planning.

7. Sleep together or get up together

By the way, all couples should try to have bedtime together and also get up so that good night kiss and morning kiss is never missed. If it is not included in your daily habits, then include it today.

8. Try Cooking together

Cooking therapy is a great way in itself, try to make yourself and your partner happy that both of you do cooking together. If you cannot stay in the kitchen for the whole time, then at least bake the chapattis together or if she is making vegetables, then you can help her in cutting the vegetables. Along with eating this small habit every day, your relationship will also get stronger by cooking.

9. Respect your spouse

“Mutual respect. Love gets you married, respect KEEPS you married.”

Even the smallest actions can have a big impact. Do something small for your spouse every day, and you might see an amazing change in your marriage.

10. Show appreciation

Constantly tell him/her, how rad you think the other is. Praise his/her work ethic & wit.

11. Apologize, Always

Don’t be afraid to admit fault and don’t make excuses. If you hurt them, even if you didn’t mean to, apologize.
